1st price in the competition “Kopfzentrum Klinikum Klagenfurt am Wörthersee”!!!

It was an honour for us to compete with numerous renowned offices and we are all the more pleased to now be able to implement our winning project.

The positioning of the compact building defines on the one hand reserve areas in the north of the site, which offer the clinic an associated park as a calm open space by the Glan. On the other hand, the receding southern building line forms a clear, spatially defined forecourt that efficiently divides traffic flows.
Inside, stepped cross-connections create a pleasant spatial sequence of buildings and open space. Across four levels, landscape joints create tangible recreational space and sheltered, communal break areas that promote communication and exchange
